My Rosary

I had surgery yesterday. An incision in the abdomen. A stitch or two or three.

When I was in recovery, my roasary fell out of my pants pocket onto the floor. The nurse picked it up and held it in her hand. The look on her face made my pain go away.

Irish Soda Bread

2 1/2 cups siftend all purpose flour
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 lb butter (1/2 stick)
1 egg slight beaten

350 degrees
1-hour
cool 3-5 minutes
